360Writing On Demand

Each 360Writing On-Demand professional learning session is tailored to a specific grade band and genre:

• Grades 3-5, Opinion and Informational

• Grades 3-5, Narrative

• Grades 6-8, Argumentative and Informational

• Grades 6-8, Narrative

• American Literature, Argumentative and Informational

• American Literature, Narrative

Each session lasts approximately two hours and can be held face-to-face or virtually.

Participants also receive the following resources:

• Writing prompts, with related passages, that can be used for on-demand exercises. These are very similar to those found on End-Of-Grade and End-Of-Course Assessments.

• Models of student writing, illustrating what different levels of progress look like in on-demand contexts.

• Resources for scoring responses that students write “on-demand.”
